SERVICESProject Scope
EVA is the Civil Engineer of Record for the Renovation of an existing building located at Taylor and Ada Street. The proposed building is a renovation of the last remaining Jane Addams Homes building designed in 1938. The renovated structure will contain the National Public Housing Museum as well as 15 new mixed income apartments on the north side of the building. Working closely with the design team, EVA provided civil engineering design services for the proposed site features including a permeable paver parking lot, an exterior sculpture courtyard space, and other exterior amenities. The design of the project implemented a cost-efficient stormwater management plan to minimize site runoff and meet the City’s DPD sustainable design objectives.
